Our commitment

What decides what we recommend to you, and what does not.

Last updated: August 18, 2026.

The engine that picks the places and composes the days has no access to partners, to offers or to commissions. It cannot see a commission amount, so it cannot lean on one. This is not a promise of good behaviour: it is a separation checked automatically on every change to the code. The database grants hold it too, the engine's read-only role having no access to the partner, offer and conversion tables. Code that breaks it fails continuous integration; it is not thereby prevented from going live, since deployment depends on none of these checks. Price enters only as the envelope constraint you gave us.

Offers will be looked up once the itinerary is composed, on places already chosen: a place will never be picked because it pays, nor dropped because it pays nothing. No offer is looked up today, and the tracking of the share of itineraries with no commissioned link at all — which we want to watch alongside revenue — is still to be set up.

An outgoing link to a partner will have to carry only the destination, the dates and the number of people: not your name, not your email address, not your telephone number, not a means of payment. No such link is served today. The automated check that guards this rule covers only the package that will build those links; it will have to be widened to the rest of the code before any such link goes live.

Our rule is that a fact should only be shown as checked when two independent sources agree, that the others be marked unchecked or disputed, and that the coverage level of a destination be shown rather than hidden. On the itinerary, every fact carries its sources and the date it was checked — or the fact that the date is missing. The coverage level of a destination is shown at the top of the itinerary, never hidden. What we also hold to: when data is missing from an itinerary, we write it down instead of filling the gap.

We book nothing, take no payment and sell no trip. Opening hours can change, a place can close, a travel time stays an estimate. Before an outdoor activity, official sources take precedence over what we show.

We get things wrong, and a page claiming otherwise would be worth nothing. Every fact shown can be reported in one gesture: the report immediately marks the fact as disputed, and the engine stops using it at once when ranking places. Three concurring reports trigger a full pipeline replay of the entry. The contact address in the legal notice is itself still to be opened.
